Transportation resources

Emergency help or a planned transport question?

For a life-threatening emergency, call 911. Do not wait for a website or email reply.

All resources

01 / Understand

When immediate help is needed

911 connects callers with emergency assistance. Be ready to give the emergency location, a callback number and what is happening. Follow the call-taker’s instructions and do not hang up until instructed.

02 / Prepare

For planned transportation

For an appointment, discharge or other planned journey, start with the care team’s recommendation. Contact MEDICS to discuss a transportation question and confirm arrangements for that individual trip.

03 / Plan

Keep the channels clear

MEDICS’ website and general email are not an emergency-dispatch channel. Do not send urgent medical requests or patient details by email. General transportation questions can be discussed through the contact page or by telephone.

The next step

A question about the next trip?

Contact MEDICS for a planned transportation discussion. For a life-threatening emergency, call 911.
